Position Overview:
We Achieve ABA is currently seeking compassionate, motivated, and reliable Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our growing team.
As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children diagnosed with autism, implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA. This role is ideal for individuals who are patient, energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping children grow and succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans created by a supervising BCBA.
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in home and/or community settings.
- Collect and accurately record data during therapy sessions.
- Maintain timely and compliant session documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other team members to support client progress.
- Assist in promoting skill development, communication, independence, and positive behaviors.
- Maintain professionalism and consistency while building rapport with clients and families.
- Participate in ongoing training and supervision.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Experience in ABA, behavioral therapy, childcare, education, or related fields preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain patient, compassionate, and professional in various situations.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- RBT certification preferred but not required (training available for qualified candidates).
